First day, first encounter, feeling good

Quick story about the universe.

I stopped at a rest stop for a break. After being there for almost an hour, after a rest and phone call, a jeep pulled up next to me. The occupants got out trying to fix their head light. IT was pretty busted. The whole front end was busted.

I popped out the car to see if there was anything I could do to help, offering tools and tapes. They were fine. But turns out they are also aiming for Florida! They call themselves hippies. And we were off on a conversation boom!

We talked about meeting up in Florida at some event they were going to, and how to get gas and showers while on the road. It was a pleasant convo. It felt like exactly the kind of first event I needed on this trip to push me into positivity.

Then, my cousin backed out of our plans, and I spoke with another friend who suggested I go see Delaware Water Gap. So, here I am, at a rest stop near this park.

I LOVE when I am flexible and spontaneous. Even though it can be hard, it is amazing. Keep it coming. Keep it coming.
