I got a new license today!

A week before I left on my trip, I looked up what it would take to get my gender marker changed in Massachusetts. And it is surprisingly easy. All you have to do is fill out a form and go to the DMV. You need a medical professional to vouch for you, but that's it.

It arrived in the mail today! I had a family member mail it to my friend, whom I'm visiting. It got here fine!

I can now "get in trouble" on the road with much less anxiety. That is, so long as they perceive me as female before they look at my ID. Sigh.
