WHAT THE FUCK! I've been invited to perform my violin on Sunday!!!

Who KNEW good hair days could do so much! LOL

I was practicing my violin and a couple in the parking lot clapped after a song. Then after the next song. By the third song they had walked up to me.

We talked, I shared my story, I heard theirs. And he asked if I was in town long enough to work on a project with him! He told me the song was the Diva Song from the Fifth Element. Ya know, the one with the opera singer that turns techno at the end? So woah I am scared shitless at the through but readily agreed.

So he explains the sitch. We share numbers and along we go. I do some research to make sure I am not getting into something sketchy. This has never happened to me before. But, the venue owner confirmed the event, and told me who is hosting it. A man named Odd?Rod is home for his birthday and throws an event every year with performing guests. The whole thing seems like an amazing community thing with loads of positivity and gratitude. I am so excited!

To top it off, the universe was showing me a sign that today was different. Before the couple approached, some boys sat down to listen to me, and again, after sharing my story, one of the boys left me a five dollar bill! My first monies from playing my violin in public! But as soon as they approached I suddenly lost pressure in my left ear. And it persisted until well after the couple making the offer to me had left.

What a fucking day I am so pumped. And later I will be seeing that boy again. I am high on the universe right now!
