This NH cop was nice.
chronograph ~ 2017-07-01I am on the phone with my friend, topless, not wearing a seatbelt.
I take the exit off the highway to the small town area where I will be staying. A police cruiser sits off the side of the road, plainly visible. Feeling brash, I make no effort to hide the fact that I'm on the phone.
Yes, he follows me and pulls me over xD
I played quite ignorant when he approached Vanessa. While I figured there would be some restrictions regarding cell phone use, I also think of NH as the place where anything goes.
He was very kind. Very quickly told me he would not give me a ticket. And the police encounter turned into a cute conversation between two adults.
He tried to show me my phone my might have a "car mode". Then we got on talking about what it's like as a cop out here. He asked about my van and why. He assumed I was a musician. Ha. Why? He told me a story.
He used to be in a band called "The Final Hour". While touring with some popular band of his times they would haul their equipment in a 1950's Cadillac Hearse! Wild right?
He was very cute at heart. And I appreciated how he handled that interaction with me. My first anxiety free interaction with a police officer. Holy crap. I have changed.
