Revisiting an old place.

I accidentally fell asleep in a McDonald's parking lot. Doh! I was woken by the police at 3:30... sigh, might as well drive all the way to the ocean for the sunrise!

First time every being woken by cops! And only ten miles from my mother's house. LOL. Thankfully when the cops showed up I had left my bulkhead open so they could see the inside, see I was non-threatening, and were very kind to me. But

Revisiting an old place

About 900 days ago, I tried to kill myself at this place. It was a misguided attempt and mostly an act of desperation. Thankfully my body rejected the chemicals I took and I managed to find warmth in the dead of January.

While I was there, playing my violin, a older couple spoke to me after a song

Where can we put some money?

Ha! Wow! They wanted to show their appreciation for me playing classical violin in a state park quite early in the morning. I told them I am not doing this for money. I simply travel to parks and play. I guess I'm ready to go busking though huh?

Sunset in a familiar place

For sunset I barely made it to a tower I used to frequent when I lived in the area. I played my violin atop although didn't feel terribly comfortable.

Interestingly, at the bottom I saw an old ambulance Ford in the lot. The owner getting ready to pack up. I approached and asked him about it. We ended up speaking for hours. We finally parted around midnight.

He was yet another example of someone showing me that my being transsexual does not preclude me from having relationships. We exchanged numbers. I hope I have the gumption to ask him for a hike one day.
