Rolling into MA and Mount Greylock.

Today I crossed the line into MA. Following the same route I took home when I first bought Vanessa over a year ago.

The drive through the mountains to get to MA produced very little emotional response in me. I was kinda excited by this. I am so present that I am not drawn back to old places merely through association. Am I going to be able to fight regression very well now?!?

Along the route in MA before the mountain, I saw a small state run park between the roadway and a river going down the mountain. I turned around and took my lunch break there. The acoustics of this area were gnarly. The steep hillside of the mountain produced enough echo that it sounded really cool. I ate some lunch.

Mount Greylock was AWESOME to ride up. Super steep, tight hairpin turns. I was in second gear the whole way up. I loved it. Sadly the war memorial tower was closed, but the view was spectacular. And I missed sunset because I fell asleep in Vanessa. Oh well.

Tomorrow I go into town. Into home territory. Yipes.
